Online Submissions: Supported files
Turnitin and the Blackboard Assignment tool can be set up to allow any file type. However, only supported file types can be checked for similarity or graded online.

Students can upload any file but only supported files can be checked for similarity and graded online.
If an assignment is set to allow any file type, Turnitin will accept any file:
- less than 100MB;
- has a minimum of 20 words; and
- is less than 800 pages.
